Election day was a day filled with anticipation, when I turn on the television that morning there was scenes of excitement among the news casters. The day was finally here, it felt like, the moment of truth. I was glad to see it come to an end, I was getting tired of all the campaign ads on television, campaign junk mail, and just hearing other talk about it. I know that this was an historical election where our next President might be an African American or a first female Vice President. I was some what excited and scared at the same time. I felt this way because of the racial tension that this election had. But I still manged to go out to check out the voter at the polls. The line at the poll here on campus wasn't very long, but there was a line. In addition to the line I notice there were more young voters than older ones. Another thing I notice was that the voters seem confident and ready to cast their ballots. I also wanted to take look inside, but I didn't, because I wasn't sure if I was allowed. Never the less the day turned out to be o.k.
